Bangkok Team Update & Pictures

After a full 24 hours of travel, Ann picked us up from the airport in Bangkok. We immediately went to McDonald’s and then rested before touring Ann’s condo and some local attractions. We finished the day by eating a Thai dinner at our hotel and went to bed early.

Day 2 we had breakfast and went to the university where Ann teaches English. We toured her classroom, sort through the donations we brought and helped decorate for Valentine’s Day. The campus is huge- over 40 acres! We had lunch in one of the cafeterias on campus and met several of her students. After lunch we split up and went to different departments to meet and converse with students. We have a cultural day Friday and Saturday, Ann has arranged a day trip with 30 students attending.

A few insights It’s amazing to observe a different culture’s way of living. Students are so respectful and friendly. The nickname for Thailand is “land of smiles” and we have seen that in many ways through the polite and kind strangers.

Thank you for praying for God appointments and opportunities!
